From Inside Out

From Inside Out

In 2024, the second of the Inside Out movies was released, nine years after the original film. This guided retreat will help you to become more aware of your driving emotions, much like the characters in Inside Out, who represent different feelings inside a young girl’s mind. Through this retreat, you’ll explore how emotions shape your thoughts and actions, while also being introduced to Saints and scripture passages that correspond to your emotions.

As you enter into a quiet and contemplative space, reflect on Psalm 51:10: “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” In addition to the meditative practices, you will have the opportunity to watch and reflect on both Inside Out (the original) and Inside Out II. These films provide a unique lens through which to explore your inner world and deepen your connection with the emotional and spiritual journey you are undertaking.
